San Sebastian to recognition Glenn Close

CloseMADRID -- Glenn Close will get the San Sebastian Film Festival's Donostia Award for career achievement on Sept. 18. Close is going to be in the The spanish language event to provide the ecu premiere of her latest film, Rodrigo Garcia's "Albert Nobbs." Pic will have from competition. Nobbs" is inspired by George Moore's short story "The Singular Existence of Albert Nobbs," activating a lady passing like a guy to be able to live and operate in 1800s Dublin. Close stars as well as shares producer and author credits about the film. In 1982, she won an Obie Award for playing the Nobbs character Off Broadway. Other cast people include Mia Wasikowska, Aaron Manley and Jesse McTeer. An Ireland-U.K.-U.S. co-production, "Nobbs" is created by Trillium Prods., Mockingbird Pictures and Parallel Film Prods. Film has been offered worldwide by WestEnd Films and it has been acquired by Liddell Ing. and Kerbside Points of interest for any Stateside release. Indie distribbery Emon will distribute "Nobbs" in The country. Previous readers from the Donostia Award include Jennifer Aniston, Richard Gere, Liv Ullmann, Francis Ford Coppola and Woodsy Allen.
