Pilgrim ramps up professional ranks

GouldPiligianCraig Piligian's reality shingle Pilgrim Galleries is ramping up its professional ranks having a slew of employs and promotions. The ultra-busy Pilgrim, which produces for example series as "Dirty Jobs" and "American Chopper" on Discovery, too "Top Shot" and also the approaching "Full Metal Jousting" for History, has hired three VP's to boost its original programming and development teams. Nicholas Caprio joins Pilgrim as Vice president of original programming. He arrives from Gay Rosenthal Prods., where he offered as professional Vice president from the shingle and assisted oversee such skeins as "Behind the background musicInch for VH1 and TLC's "Little People, Large World." Coming in the U.K.-based shingle Optomen, Take advantage of Hill would be the new Vice president of development for unscripted. Around the scripted side, Janet Burns will join like a Vice president. Formerly, she labored at Disney Funnel and ABC Family. Coming aboard is Jon Unger as manager of development. He formerly labored at ABC in current programming, and alternative and special offers department. Being marketed at Pilgrim is seven-year vet Johnny Gould, who'll certainly be senior Vice president of original programming and development. He'll still oversee both approaching and current unscripted series. Also being upped as managers in development are Jamie Fleischman and Mike Shelton.
